Megacity BMW Vehicle Future Concept Cars

Future direction of the concept vehicle is already clear. Several terms, now is getting to be such obligation that is not too large size, low emissions and fuel economy must certainly be there. With the same understanding as well as BMWs long player in the automotive trying to design a concept car that will be the future of transportation. This car will be fully using electrical energy source and will carry a number of todays modern technology.

Megacity BMW Vehicle Project was actually started from Project i at the end of 2007. At that time, BMW began to try to glance at the hybrid car market with the launch of the Mini E. It was indeed a comparison between the use of fuel oil to electricity is not balanced and therefore BMW 1-series and then launched ActiveE Concept which will be launched later in 2011. This is not the last project of the BMW because for the year 2013 BMW is preparing for this Vehicle MCV or Megacity.

From the sketches on display, it appears that Megacity Vehicle body design is indeed very futuristic. It is possible that this concept will change shape when entering the later production globally but at least we can predict the basic shape of this Vehicle Megacity. From the data specification, BMW says that this MCV would accommodate four passengers although there is no clarity about the number of doors to be installed on this car.

An important component in realizing the optimal electric car is obviously the weight of the car itself. How not, the weight of the batteries alone can reach 250kg - 360kg. Therefore, BMW took dugwells Carbon to design what they call a carbon fiber cells that will become the fundamental building blocks of this MCV. With an electric motor that can generate power of 135 horsepower and weighs a light car it is expected that these MCV can achieve the ideal distance to be called as a tool of modern transportation. We telling the review of Six from the Top 10 Muscle Cars

In this post, I would like to write about some muscle cars that considered as the top chooice. I have just search with google for the keyword of "muscle cars top 10", after following the links, then I found one of the review that I interested. In this article I post the information about that. You can read the complete below :

1. 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 S / C

Blue with white stripes 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Top Muscle Car

Presumed to have too much power for its chassis, the 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 S / C showed an impressive 480 bhp. This sporty little number like a European sports car, still had the muscle to prove that he was American. Two twin turbocharged versions of this super car were made - one for Bill Cosby and a Shelby. Cosby sold his because he had too much power and the next owner put it in a lake; Shelby Super Snake was sold in 2007 for $ 5.5 million U.S..

2. 1969 Camaro Z28

Blue with white stripes 1969 Camaro Z28 Top Muscle Car

Not the most powerful, the 1969 Camaro Z28 was built for the thrill of road racing and loved for his sense of style and handling capabilities. Perhaps one of the finest cars, the Camaro could do a quarter mile in 14.8 seconds though only at a speed of just over 100 mph. Despite that obvious lack of brute force, it was noted for its great drive with four-disc brakes, Positraction and power steering.

3. 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda

The worst of the 1970 Plymouth Barracudas or Hemi Cudas had an engine of 425 bhp 426 hemi. This muscle car boasted a 0-60 mph in 5.6 seconds and was known for burning rubber without much prompting. A rough road, the Hemi Cuda was made for muscle lovers. The Hemi Cuda came in one size of engine, 426, while the other four engine options for the Cuda "does not have hemispherical heads.

4. "Boss 429" 1969 Ford Mustang

The "Boss 429" 1969 Ford Mustang was the most expensive non-Shelby Mustang Ford offered at the time. The reason came to the 429 engine that Ford wanted to get into NASCAR. While the car was not built for their starts screaming, he was known to capacity long distance running and gentle handling.

5. Stage GSX a 1970 Buick

Yellow 1970 Buick GSX top Muscle Car - Front Left View

A beefy Buick, the Stage 1 package GSX performance boasted 360 bhp though testers said he was in close to 400 for the tube bigger, better targeted and more camshafted hot car. The supercar did the quarter mile in 13.38 seconds and came in only two colors: white or Apollo Saturn Yellow.

6. 1965 Pontiac GTO

Possibly the only starting the craze American Muscle Car, the Goat or 1965 Pontiac Tempest GTO option featured racing car options that remained inspirational long after it was out driven in speed and power. From 0-60 in 6.1 seconds was not poor, but not inspiring considering the next 10 years of muscle cars. Nevertheless, this muscle car has the chops to make this list just starting the phenomenon that turned car enthusiasts into weekend warriors under the hood.

In addition, Kelley Blue Books kbb.com reveals the top five brands with the greatest share of market interest for 2010.

This year marks the fifth consecutive year that Kelley Blue Book saw increased visitation to its website, with nearly 24 million more visits to kbb.com in 2010 versus 2009. Because kbb.com is one of the most-trafficked automotive research sites, visitation to specific vehicles has become a leading indicator of sales patterns for manufacturers.

Kbb.coms Top 20 Most-Researched New Vehicles of 2010

1. Honda Accord
6. Nissan Altima
11. Toyota Sienna
16. Ford Escape
2. Honda Civic
7. Honda Pilot
12. Honda Odyssey
17. Toyota Prius
3. Toyota Camry
8. Ford Mustang
13. Chevrolet Equinox
18. BMW 3 Series
4. Honda CR-V
9. Toyota Highlander
14. Toyota Corolla
19. Chevrolet Camaro
5. Hyundai Sonata
10. Toyota RAV4
15. Ford Fusion
20. Volkswagen Jetta

The Honda Accord, Honda Civic and Toyota Camry (in varying orders each year) have been the top three most-researched new vehicles on kbb.com each year since 2004. However, a few vehicles made jumps into the top 20 most-researched new vehicles for 2010 that were not on the list in 2009, and many models have changed their standings among the top 20 when compared to last year.

The most noteworthy success story this year is the Hyundai Sonata, which made a giant leap up 24 positions, from number 29 last year to number five this year. Hyundais popular all-new Sonata helped to re-shuffle the deck among the top 20 most-researched new cars of 2010, knocking a few vehicles further down on the list compared to where they were last year.

A number of popular new or redesigned models also increased their standing for 2010 versus 2009, including the Ford Mustang, up eight positions to number eight, the Toyota Sienna, up seven positions to number 11, and the Chevrolet Equinox, up seven positions to number 13. In addition, the BMW 3 Series was new to the list for 2010, making its debut at number 18.

Likewise, many vehicles that are staples on the annual kbb.com top 20 most-researched new vehicles list experienced a decline in standing for 2010 when compared to 2009. The Toyota Corolla fell nine positions to number 14 this year, and the Toyota Prius dropped nine positions to number 17. In addition, the Chevrolet Camaro was down seven positions to number 19 for 2010.

"The site traffic on Kelley Blue Books kbb.com clearly demonstrates which models are resonating with todays new-car shoppers, especially when we examine the most-researched new vehicles of 2010," said James Bell, executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Books kbb.com. "Hyundais homerun Sonata was not only the darling of the industry this year, but also made a strong impression in the minds of new-car shoppers by leaping ahead to the fifth most-researched new car of 2010. In addition, two popular Toyota models, the Corolla and Prius, experienced drops on the list this year, likely due to a combination of lower fuel prices and reduced overall interest in compact and hybrid vehicles, and also possibly due to Toyotas public perception crisis during the recall saga of 2010."

Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevrolet and Nissan (respectively) are the top five brands with the highest share of market interest -- defined as the percent of new-car shopper activity for a particular brand -- on Kelley Blue Books kbb.com for 2010. While these five brands remain in the same positions as last year, Toyota has experienced a decline in share of market interest for 2010 while Fords share of market interest continues to grow. Toyota managed to hold down its top spot for 2010, even though its share of market interest declined 2.4 percentage points from last year. IIHS says these are the safest cars of 2013

IIHS says these are the safest cars of 2013 The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has revealed its annual list of Top Safety Picks, an award that highlights automobiles it says offer "superior crash protection." A new and still more significant award, the Top Safety Pick+ honor, is given to those vehicles that earn good ratings for occupant protection in four out of five areas of measure. And while some 117 vehicles were given the TSP seal of approval for 2013, just 13 passed muster for TSP+.

To be fair, IIHS only evaluated 29 vehicles with its new testing procedures for TSP+ (wed expect that the number of qualified cars will rise substantially for 2014). Luxury and Near Luxury midsize cars were the first groups evaluated, followed by midsizers in the Moderately Priced Cars category – unsurprisingly, its only midsize cars that youll find among the class this year.

IIHS says these are the safest cars of 2013

Only two luxury sedans made the list of 13 for 2013: the Acura TL and Volvo S60. The other 11 cars on the list included entries from domestic, Japanese and German car makers: Dodge Avenger, Chrysler 200, Ford Fusion, Honda Accord (sedan and coupe), Kia Optima (but not its close kin, the Hyundai Sonata, strangely), Nissan Altima, Subaru Legacy and Outback, Suzuki Kizashi and the Volkswagen Passat all made the grade.
